Stable Sealant
The descriptionStable Sealant is a high quality rubber adhesive suitable for our carpet products, designed to quickly and effectively bond rubber to rubber and rubber to other surfaces - including metals, stone, glass and sealed surfaces (i.e. brick, concrete, etc.). Instructions for Edge Bonding Mats:
Pre-cut mats to best fit the area
Temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C are not suitable for adhesive application
Lift the edges of the carpet and clean the edges with a solvent-based wipe
Work from the back of the area towards the door to ensure you are not working on stuck-on mats
Make sure surfaces are dry, then run a bead of Stable Sealant along the edge of the mat
Bring two edges to be bonded together so that the adhesive spreads evenly over the edge surfaces
Remove any access adhesive with a palette knife (adhesive can be applied to carpet edges and reused)
Leave for 7 hours for the adhesive to harden
Seal nozzle to adhesive for future use
CAUTION
Stable sealant contains isocyanates.

Apply the mixture evenly to the floor using the Aquatop Roller, working in sections of a maximum of 1 meter at a time to avoid the formation of puddles. Apply two applications of PU Sealer using the Aquatop roller, allowing at least 2 hours drying time between the two. Improves overall appearance and makes a good impression
