Aaron Rodgers Signs Contract Extension With Green Bay Packers

Rodgers, 29, played in all 16 regular-season games for the Packers in 2012, throwing for 4,295 yards, 39 touchdowns and just eight interceptions to help lead Green Bay to an 11-5 record and their second straight title in the the NFC North division. Since taking over as a full-time starter under center after the departure of Brett Favre in 2008, Rodgers has started 78 regular season games, missing only two in that span. Rodgers, taken 24th overall by Green Bay in the 2005 NFL Draft, has completed 65.7% of his career passes for 21,661 yards, 171 touchdowns and just 46 total interceptions.
